Constitutional Amendment to Set Vote Threshold at Fifty-Five Percent for  
Housing and Infrastructure Bonds  
Revises Assembly Constitutional Amendment (ACA) 1 (Aguiar-Curry,  
2023), which placed on the November 2024 ballot a constitutional  
amendment to institute a 55 percent vote threshold for housing and  
infrastructure bonds and special taxes.

Upon the motion by Committee Member Eklund and second by Committee  
Member Tiedemann, a support if amended position on Assembly Constitutional  
Amendment 10 (Aguiar-Curry) was adopted to be forwarded to the ABAG  
Executive Board and Commission Approval for approval, respectively. Committee  
Member Eklund requested Chair Canepa to concur with the emergency  
procedure to communicate a position on Assembly Constitutional Amendment 10  
(Aguiar-Curry) prior to the Commission meeting date. Chair Canepa indicated  
concurrence. This is in conformance with MTC Resolution No. 1058, Revised, MTC  
Commission Procedures Manual. The motion carried unanimously by the
